Bio-on attended “bio!PAC conference”, which was hold on the 28th and 29th of May 2019 in Düsseldorf, Germany. bio!PAC is a conference on packaging made from biobased materials and, in such context, Bio-on took the opportunity to promote BioBarr project activities.
Experts from all areas of biobased materials presented their latest developments to the audience (more than 100 participants). The conference did not only cover biobased materials and application examples from suppliers and brand owners. Different disposal options (end-of-life scenarios) were also discussed, as well as the availability of agricultural land for material use versus food and feed.
